check

As you check each tire of your vehicle, make sure to look at the entire tire. Make sure to inspect the air pressure in each tire. If a tire is getting low on air, you will want to make sure that you fill it correctly. Having a tire that is under inflated or over inflated can cause issues in the long run. One of the most common problems is that the tire will not rotate properly. This can result in uneven tread wear or bulges on the tire. If you are not sure how much air should be in the tires, make sure to check in the owner’s manual. You can also check on the inside doorjamb of the vehicle as well.

Also make sure that you bring your vehicle in for regular maintenance of the tires. We can inspect each tire for any issues that they might have. If there is any problem or issue you might notice, always make sure to contact us as soon as you can. This will help prevent the problems from becoming worse in the long run. By checking each tire, you will help ensure they are operating at top performance. Then we can determine if the tires will need to be rotated or aligned. This should be done on a regular basis. Doing so will help them to wear evenly as you drive.

You will also want to check the tires to ensure the tread has been wearing properly. Take a penny and place it upside in the tread of the tire. If you can see the top of Lincoln’s head, then the tread has worn down. You will want to check all four tires. If you do notice an uneven wear pattern, contact us. We can schedule an appointment for your vehicle to help ensure the tires are in the best condition.
