With school starting, now is a great time to have your vehicle properly inspected. If parts are starting to show signs of wear and tear, make sure to have them replaced as soon as possible.

The tires should be inspected regularly. Since the tires are the only part that will make direct contact with the surface of the road, it is important to have them inspected. The proper inflation will help the tires to rotate and wear evenly. If you notice that the air pressure is low on a regular basis, there could be a leak on the tire. If a tire is over inflated it has a great chance to pick up sharp objects on the road. When a tire is under inflated, it may be more prone to blowing out. It is important to remember to check the spare tire along with the regular ones as well. This way it will be ready to use incase you need it.

Also check the fluid levels in the vehicle. This can include the oil, brake fluid, and windshield washer fluid. The oil helps to lubricate the engine and other moving parts. This will help reduce strain and stress with the parts under the hood. If the fluid level drops often, make sure to schedule an appointment so we can inspect it for you. If you ignore a leak, it can do further damage to the vehicle and increase the chance for a costly repair bill.

Along with checking the fluid levels, make sure to inspect the windshield wipers also. This helps you to have the best visibility possible when you drive. If you notice that there are smear marks or the wipers are vibrating, make sure to bring the vehicle in so we can inspect the windshield wipers for you.
